MEIST offers workshops throughout the year to assist teachers with their Professional Learning.
The nature of these workshops and the times is dependent on availability of presenters, worksites, and resources.
MEIST workshops allow for the sharing of experiences, constructing teaching materials, swapping ideas and teaching practices.
MEIST members receive complimentary invitations to workshops if they run during their registration with MEIST. Teachers registered for the whole year are invited to all seminars and workshops run by MEIST at no extra cost.
Members will be able to use any resource materials collected in any of the workshops they attend. This is one of the benefits for members. Members are entitled to use any resources provided to them in their personal teaching, but they are not to be distributed across the school to colleagues for use in their classes.
