Tuition gives students a way of taking charge of their learning to improve their learning outcomes.
Personal tuition
MEIST offers tutoring with a personal tutor [subject to tutor availability] in any Science or Mathematics displine that the student requires from the subjects listed below:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
- Psychology
- Specialist Mathematics
- Mathematical Studies
- Mathematical Methods
- Geology
The personal tuition MEIST offers can be undertaken in any of the following formats:
- One on one personal tutoring for either 60 minutes or 90 minutes
- Paired tutoring where two students share a tutor for either 60 minutes or 90 minutes
Enquiries and enrolment can be done via the webpage. Applicants for tuition will need to:
List their preference of subject [or subjects in order of priority]
Enter contact details of parents
State their preferred times for tuition

MEIST will reply via email with a contact person who can then talk to parents and students about their learning needs.
Please note, the cost of private tuition is cheaper per person when two students attend a tutorial together. Please note as well that numbers are limited for every tutor and subject to their availability and fill up very quickly.
The MEIST tutor who worked with my son this year in Stage 1 Physics is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this organization on all levels. My son’s tutor was patient, knowledgeable and passionate about helping him to be the best he can be in his studies.
